HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION
May 23, 2014
Our oldest grandson Matthew graduated from Deer Valley High School. The whole family flew out to Arizona to celebrate Matt’s accomplishments. We partied for three straight days and it was so much fun to have the family together.
This is our peanut gallery waiting for the ceremony to start.
Loving Cousins
The oldest & youngest cousins sharing a moment watching the dogs.
The children were very excited to eat the cake and were the first to gather around the table.
The day after the graduation we had a pool/BBQ party and it was so much fun. We were very lucky that the temperature was only in the low – mid 90’s during our visit.
Of course there were putting contests, lots of fun.
Then it was time for group family photos. Yep, the kids just loved that… not so much, they just wanted to continue playing.
Thank you Pami, Jimmy, and Michele for our beautiful six grandchildren.
Thank you Nick & Gay for hosting the “after party” at your home.
The girls are so cute in their selfie and then there’s Papa… the “Photo Bomber”!!
DISNEYLAND
May 25th
The Sunday after the graduation, Mike/Pami, Jimmy/Jessica and the grandkids headed off to Disneyland…. oh what fun!
First Communion – May 31, 2014
Just one week later Charlie made his First Communion in Morgan Hill. The next day we also celebrated Lizzy’s 6th birthday and Alex’s 3rd birthday… another great weekend with family.
Mike, Pami, Lizzy & Charlie with Mike’s parents Dave & Maria
Great Grandpa, Ida, and Abbey Jan drove down for the event
Grammie with the family
Hurry, get the camera because we look good!
This is the first cake of the weekend… more to come.
You know how kids are with putting stickers everywhere, well Vovo, Grammie & Mommy had them all over… thanks kids!!
Let the Birthday parties begin!!
After the Communion and celebration party in the morning, it was time to start celebrating Lizzy’s birthday in the afternoon with her friends. Lizzy wanted a “Mani/Pedi” themed party and invited 7 of her closest friends. The girls took over about half the chairs in the salon and they had a blast choosing their colors and designs.
Then it was time for pizza, cake and gifts. Yes… that is two cakes in one day!!
The following day the family celebrated both Lizzy (again!) and Alex’s birthdays. It was another fun filled day with play time, a great BBQ, opening gifts, and YES…. cupcakes!!
Jessica made these wonderful cupcakes and had the eatable frosting customized… aren’t they adorable!!!
