The kids came to California for 2 weeks and they had lots of fun during their visit. The whole family kept them very busy! We had them for 5 days and they were the first people to stay at our new house. Although we had just moved in and we had to eat on a picnic table, all went well.
Lauren is miss photogenic and loves animals, just like Vovo! We took a walk one night and we met our neighborhood furry friends.
One day when it was 105 degrees in Lincoln, we headed up to Lake Tahoe and enjoyed a beautiful day in 85 degree weather. We rented kayaks and paddled around the lake for the day. We had so much fun!!
It was the boys against the girls and the girls WON… Yippee!!

We packed a picnic lunch and found this very nice beach to enjoy our lunch and relax.
One of Lauren’s favorite places is spending time in my craft room. Here she is stamping and coloring tiles that are beverage coasters. She loves to learn from Vovo and she’s like a sponge, wants to soak up all the information.
What’s a day without “girl” shopping. One of the things I bought for her was a scrapbook and she promptly starting working on it. It’s a scrapbook all about her pets at home. Here she is showing off the finished product to Papa.
You can see that there aren’t any pictures of Matthew because he hates to have his picture taken. I snapped this one when he wasn’t paying attention.
