Babysitting Our Little Monkeys

September 16-19th

Jimmy & Jessica were able to spend a few days relaxing and celebrating their 17th Anniversary, while we spent some quality time with the boys.  And those boys kept us busy!!

They love to get dressed up and they do this on a regular basis.

We took the kids to Forest Home Farms and they loved it.  It’s a 16-acre historical farm in San Ramon.  They have horses, a tractor museum, apple juice making, crafts, chickens, and more and it’s all for free!

The boys climbed all over the outdoor tractors, we couldn’t get them off!

They had dozens of old tractors on display.

Here are the boys making apple juice from fresh apples and the juice was very tasty!

Of course, swimming was involved and the boys seemed to love the showers just as much as the pool… go figure!

The coolest park  is Rancho San Ramon Community Park.  If you live in that area, take your kids there!

We also took them to Rockin Jump.  They spent 2 hours there and it was NOT long enough for them, they wanted more.

We tired them out!

Sacramento Zoo

One of their favorite places to go is the Sacramento Zoo… so here we are!  The weather was nice (not too hot) so we were lucky to see almost every animal out in the open.

They wanted to ride the little kid train, even though we barely fit in it… LOL

Every time we go they pick out a stuffed animal of their choice.

4th of July

On the 4th of July it was family day at my gym, so Lizzy wanted to work out with me.  She climbed the rope (without the knots) in a few seconds, like it was nothing!!  Good job Lizzy!!

Then we met the guys at the parade in downtown Lincoln.

Bowling

We went bowling one day and the monitors were a crack up.  Our faces were loaded into the system and it randomly put us in different scenes… very funny!

The girls stick together…. cousin love Red heart

Hey, Vovo rocks… check out my score (that’s good for me)!!  Mr. Competitive Papa was mad that he came in 2nd, so he kept blaming it on his shoes… LOL

After 3 games of bowling, we hit the arcade.  The kids earned a ton of tickets to buy chachki stuff.

Alpaca Walk

We took the kids to an Alpaca Farm in Loomis.   At first the kids were afraid of the alpaca’s and didn’t want to walk them.  So Papa & I walked them first and then the kids were good with it and each of them took turns walking them through the farm.  The owners guided us around the farm and educated us on alpaca’s.  It was something really different and a fun thing to do.

After the walk the kids were able to feed the alpaca’s.IMG_5823IMG_7373

Rockin Jump

Rockin Jump is a cool indoor trampoline place for kids!  They have basketball, rock wall climbing, x-beam, dodgeball, trampolines, and flipping and jumping onto an air-filled stunt bag.  Two hours later they still had energy to do more!
