Handmade Greeting Cards

These are a few of the cards I made recently.  This R2-D2 card was for Alex’s 7th birthday.  It’s all made by hand, no pattern, just some punching and lots of cutting.

I made another pop-up card for Lizzy’s birthday.  A kitty cat because she loves animals!

This is one of my favorites… simple but cute.  I’ve made it 4 times and hopefully the recipients liked it!

I also experimented with an explosion card for a friend that is a tennis player.  It was fun to make, but a lot of work!!  I did not have a pattern, so I winged it.  I first made it out of cheapo paper and when I thought I had it right, I went on to the good paper.
This is the lid.

This is the start of the base.  I had to add some thin cardboard for weighted support so when you take the lid off, the sides fall down.

I put her face on the body… LOL

I made this card for Joey’s 10th birthday.  Last year I made this same card for Charlie’s B’day, but they are so into the Scouts, I wanted to make the same card for Joey.

This card is for Charlie’s 13th birthday this month.  He LOVES bacon so I got creative… too funny!
