Here are some photos from the last couple of months (in no particular order) at Kaia F.I.T. where I work out. These ladies are so special and I love them dearly… we are a family. Can you find me in the group photos?
This was our “BRIK” session, a 6 week kick ass program that happens a few times a year. Week 3 is “Hell Week” in the middle of BRIK. Although all the daily workouts are really hard all year long, they push us even more during the hell weeks.
Each week of BRIK there is “fit test” where we do exercises, record our numbers, and try to beat our own numbers each time for 6 weeks. Yesterday’s fit test was super hard! 50 push-ups, 50 pull-ups, 50 sit-ups, 50 squats, 100 double unders or 500 single jump ropes, and 50 burpees. And of course we had other exercises too that were not part of the fit test. I guess I should be happy that we didn’t have to run the timed mile this time around.
There was a white elephant party in December,
we had a great time!
This was the gift I brought. I made custom wine labels and added them to a bottle of wine. They turned out really good and the girls loved it.

Below - Peloton Dream Team 2016
Five ladies from the gym were chosen to be on the Dream Team. It’s an annual competition where teams compete against each other at all participating Kaia locations. The exercises are different every year and the team that completes the highest number of each exercise is the winner. This year we did squat & press, double unders, push-up’s, sit up’s, running, & burpees. The hard part is we had to accomplish all of these without any breaks and it took us about 17 minutes of continuous work. We were exhausted at the end to say the least! We didn’t win, but we rocked it!!
