Matthew and Lauren made their annual 3 week visit to California from HOT Arizona. They were with us for almost a week and we had a ton of fun. This is Lauren at the airport when we picked them up.
Yummy breakfast... pancakes and fruit!
Fun at the park
I don't know what it is about this 'digger', but all the kids just love it... especially Charlie.

Lauren and I did all kinds of fun girly stuff like, scrapbooking, making cards, painting ceramics and more. Here is Lauren putting together a scrapbook that we bought her for her birthday.
We went to Petroglyphs Cermanic studio where you paint your own pottery and they bake it for you... it's so much fun. It's easy to spend several hours there on any given day. Lauren painted a dragon and I painted a spoon rest holder for the kitchen.
Here's Lauren wearing Vovo's favorite "VW Bug" slippers... they quickly became her favorite slippers too!

Here are the guys playing some billiards
Lauren made several cards during her stay. She LOVES my craft room and continually asked to go there to make stuff. So needless to say, we spent a lot of time in my craft room.
We took the kids to "Sky Zone" in Rocklin. It's an indoor trampoline playing field where you can bounce to your heart's desire and climb up the walls, play dodge ball while bouncing and lots more. It's a GREAT workout... take it from me, I did it for a few months! Here's Matthew playing dodge ball.
We went to a really cool store called reCreate. It's a place that works with local businesses to collect unwanted items and everything is donated to the store. It allows kids to make cool stuff from recycled material that would have been thrown away from local businesses. They also sell everything to the public for CHEAP. They have tons of decorations, paper, material, tiles, silk flowers... and the list goes on. You pay $5 per kid and you can spend all day (if you wanted) making stuff. Lauren decided she wanted to make a laptop from recycled computer parts and here's her creation.
Lauren making more cards. Check out the TV in the background... what in the heck did we have on the tube??

This was Lauren's idea to dress up for "work" in Papa's business clothes... too cute. Notice she's carrying her new laptop.
