Babysitting Charlie & Lizzy–April 2015

We only got to babysit for a very short weekend, hence the lack of photos!!  And you’ll notice who the “ham” is… Lizzy of course.  I do not have one picture of Charlie… how did that happen??? Between going to games, riding bikes/scooters, going to the park, pizza night, shopping, drawing, & games…the weekend flew by and it was over in a flash! 

This was a game that we came up with and we spent hours playing it, the kids loved it.  Each person had a turn to choose what we all had to draw.  In this particular case it was Papa sitting on a stool.  It was quite comical as you can see.  Click on the photo to enlarge them and you can see how bad mine is!  We needed Uncle Jimmy to play since he is the artist in the family!!

We went to Toys r Us and let the kids pick out what they wanted.  Charlie picked Lego’s of course and Lizzy picked a puppy of course.

Wine Passport Weekend, El Dorado Hills
April 2015
The Wong’s stayed with us for a few days and we had a blast.  Norm & Pat joined us for cocktails one night… we are all long time friends.

The wine country in El Dorado is beautiful to say the least and we hit a perfect weekend.  We went wine tasting both Saturday & Sunday.

I am always looking for the resident dogs and I always find them.  I am an animal lover and these beautiful dogs completed the weekend for me.

I’m guilty… I just had to have two!

One of these days I’m going to get one of these wine holders, they are so cute!!  It will be a conversation piece for our bar.

Lizzy’s 7th Birthday – May 2015

Can this cake get any cuter?!?!?!?  Jessica is so talented and all her creations taste fantastic!!

All the kids took a cooking class at Cucina Bambini in Willow Glen.  They prepared their food, cooked it, and ate it… life is good.  Needless to say they had a blast making their own creations.

Alex’s 4th Birthday – May 2015

Here’s the happy birthday boy, 4 years old and going on 10… LOL.

Just a couple cards that I made.  I made this one for Alex’s 4th birthday and I’m really happy it turned out so cute.

This is Lizzy card and it turned out so pretty!

Misc Stuff

There are 2 of these blooms in our backyard… just beautiful.

Front yard improvement.  This is the left side BEFORE and the right side looked about the same.  It looks so much better with those hedges out of there!  We added about 30 new plants so in a couple of years they should be looking good.  The tree in the lawn is new too, since the old one died.  The best part is we didn’t have to pay anything or do the work.  We complained to the HOA about a couple of plants that were dying and they tore up everything, asked us what type of plants we wanted, they took care of planting them and hooking up the drip system and added new bark.  I guess it pays to complain!!

There was a neighborhood wine gathering down the street and these are our wonderful neighbors, Leo, Leah, & Patti.  There were about 60 people that showed up… Verdera is the party place.  The goal is to do this gathering quarterly and rotate hosts.

Kaia Korner–January & February 2015

I just can’t say enough wonderful things about my Kaia family and the enjoyment & results I get from every single workout and event.
All the local Kaia locations got together at Whole Foods in Roseville for a pop up party and fit test.  I’m guessing there were about 100 women that participated and it was so much fun!  People were stopping to take pictures and asking what the event was all about.  Hopefully we got some new recruits to join Kaia!  This is our Roseville clan. 

The event attracted professional photographers and “yours truly” made the it on a page of Style Magazine.  That’s me in the top right picture on the left side of the group.

We made a human valentine on February 14th.

In February the owner of Kaia threw a celebration for all the VIP members.  It was held at Fat’s in Roseville and everyone had a great time.  This is my wonderful coach Denise.
