The kids (there were about 15) enjoyed a couple hours of ice skating, followed by pizza and of course cake!! Charlie & Lizzy did really good and they were so brave to venture out on their own without the buckets. The buckets are stacked on top of each other and the skaters hold on to them and push them around as they skate. They are used to help new skaters find the balance and courage to be on the ice. The amount of buckets stacked are based on your height. You can see in the background how the buckets work.
I made this birthday card for Charlie. It was a big hit and especially loved by his Mommy. C.A.R. are Charlie’s initials and the 9 photos represent his life.
The after party was filled with creative chalk drawings, bike races, roller blades, and gifts of course!
I had a puzzle made from a photo of the kids and their dog Jake. The kids had no idea what the puzzle was but they had a blast putting it together and seeing the photo come alive before their eyes. All 6 kids got into the action.
